Fish Farming Nets

TECHNOSEA srl has launched the new unit of production of fish farming nets for floating and submersible cages.

The combination of special modified machinery and highly professional operators with years of experience in the net manufacture make TECHNOSEA srl a new and valuable reality at the service of farmers.

The most important TechnoSEA quality production is the double sewing to join reinforcing ropes to the netting pannel. First is outside the rope and the second inside the rope that give a special strenght to the fish farming net.

TechnoSEA is the first italian company to produce this special sewing method.

Nylon Nets

Nylon nets (or polyamide) are offered complete and ready to be installed on the cages. They are available from 210/12 up to 210/60. They can reach 210/96 up to 210/400 on request for all heavily exposed areas or for the farming of large oceanic fish.
The side supports are generally made with polyester plait or polypropylene rope in 16-32 per sample. Marine plastic zips can be installed in order to facilitate their use. They are available in black and white. Our company carries out its manufacture, that is why farmers can directly supervise its production.

Polyethylene Nets

Polyethylene nets come in 3/030 3/060 and are ready to be installed on the cage. They are generally used for sheltered sea areas and are fairly resistant to fouling (they can be washed very easily). They are rather light and need greater weights than those made of nylon. They are available in black.

Anti-Predators Nets

Anti-predators nets are made of polyethylene knotted netting with yarn available from 3/10 to 3/18. Nets are reinforced by a perimetral or diametral ropes.
