Mooring

 

TECHNOSEA srl with its products range dedicated to aquaculture and sprang out of years of experience in offhsore installations, supplies materials and equipment for mooring cage plants for fish farming, in particular:

ROPES

Those used for mooring are twisted ropes made of  DANLINE/POLYSTEEL, manufactured with extruded, high density polypropylene and polyethylene thread , blended together, which give a maximum tensile stress of about 20-25% higher than the rope made of polypropylene only.

 

 

We can, on request, supply mooring systems with twisted ropes Scanrope, manufactured with extruded polypropylene and polyethylene thread , blended together, which give a maximum tensile stress of about 60% higher than the rope made of polypropylene only and about 20% higher than Polysteel.

Dyneema ropes are also available upon request.

Mooring systems are supplied complete with thimble, splice, oval and round ring.

ANCHOR

SAMSON 12 type, 150 to 1000 kg with ultimate load from 19.3 to 63.7 tonnes, particularly indicated for sandy-muddy waters.

POLYETHILENE MOORING BUOYS

Floating buoys in rotational printed PE with expansive closed cell PU or Polystyrene D/15 filling , unsinkable.
Floating thrusts available: 260, 440, 680 and 1100 litres for cylinder shape. Conical shape available are: 250, 475, 700, 925, 1150, 1375, 1600 litres.  All buoys are equipped with loop bar in hot galvanized steel with double eyelet welded to both ends.

On request we may supply buoys with greater size and floating thrust.

 

 

 

 

 

One of our most recent products is SEAPLAST mooring buoys, which offer a remarkable advantage over the traditional types. They assemble on a loop chain of about 16 mm diameter that replace the traditional loop bar. The chain length may vary on request and it is blocked on the buoys top by a special steel pin.

HOT GALVANIZED STEEL MOORING BUOY

Model BTR

New mooring buoy manufactured in strong hot galvanized steel. Galvanizing is both inside and outside the buoy.                   

Made of Steel FE37-4mm, n° 4 steel bars Ø24 mm all-buoy lenght ; n°2 steel plates #8 mm, including steel ring C70 Ø30 mm.

Bouyancy from 900 to 3000 kg.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Model BC

New cilyndrical mooring buoy manufactured in strong hot galvanized steel. Galvanizing is both inside and outside the buoy.

DEEP-WATER BUOYS

Made of hard PE for floating functions on deep bathymetry (up to 550 m). They are normally used for the deep suspension of the connection point between ground-chain and mooring rope.

 

 

 

FLOATS FOR MUSSEL FARMING

Made for mussel farming in blown PE or printed rotational PE filled with compressed air 1.5 bar or expanded polystyrene. Floating thrusts; 60-80-115-160-180-220 litres.
